새로운 Sky-Watcher Explorer-130P DS는 Explorer-130P와 동일한 뛰어난 포물선형 주경을 갖추고 있지만 향상된 초점 제어를 위한 1.25"/2" 이중 속도 10:1 비율 포커서와 부경의 튜브 길이가 더 짧아졌습니다. 보다 편리한 주초점 촬영을 위해 주경에 더 가깝게 배치되었습니다. 

Explorer 130P-DS는 놀랍도록 유능한 뉴턴식 이미징입니다. Stargazerslounge 에서 소유자의 이미지와 토론을 확인하세요 . DSLR 카메라는 T-링만 사용하여 포커서의 T-스레드에 직접 장착할 수  있지만 최상의 결과를 위해서는 Coma Corrector도 사용하는 것이 좋습니다.  (Coma Corrector를 사용하는 경우 카메라에 맞는  M48 링이 필요합니다  .)
